Thank you for this very inspiring post. Timely for me as I continue to unearth and try to get clear on my own dreams (and after this shifty New Moon eclipse)! I plan on trying out the prompts. ✍️

Love all of these prompts (and your creative extras like ridding the world of rogue squirrels 🐿️ ). I’ve also been a quiet self saboteur but things are changing, bit by bit.

Incremental change is often the most sustainable and also the most effective.

Alex I loved all of this, thank you 🙏 society really does squash us down and make us think surviving is all that matters; I was talking to my parents about the stress of my university role today, and while kind, their response did turn to "it is normal to be stressed and to dread work". I don't want to believe that that's true. I believe we can enjoy going to work, that we should enjoy going to work. And so to then read this reminder to follow my keep following my dreams and to not be influenced by others limiting beliefs, was just perfect timing 🥰

Thank you for sharing - i’ve heard that time and again too. And my inner rebel is like - why are we all content with being miserable? NOOOOOOO. We can built something more in alignment with our goals. At any time!

pahaha "why are we all content with being miserable?!" YES THIS! Thank you Alex. I might have to pull that phrase out next time someone tries to make me "be realistic" 😂

Haha! Please do. People need to understand what they are actually doing!

I never allowed myself to dream. All I wanted was a family with lotsa kids. I wonder why I never reached for anything else. Perhaps I was influenced by my parents, children of WWII, who were so grateful to be in this country and live a simple life, and that was plenty. My kids are grown now, so I now I work on learning to dream, and then secondly- dreaming big!

Thank you for sharing. It is never too late. My dreams were constrained and got super small. But see - once you realize you can have big dreams, you can have big dreams :)

Yes!! Even though I’m all about living a life aligned with your true self (and therefore, desires), I still have parts of me who don’t believe my big dreams can come true. But it’s so important to tap into that innocence and optimism within and pursue those dreams!! Thank you for this beautiful reminder, loved the prompts!

Singing to my heart with this Alex. ☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️

My dad was my SWAT team!

And the images throughout brought all the smiles and deeeelight to my Little Inner Suzy. 🪄✨🪄

This must resonate with so very many of us. You seem to capture our most inner thoughts . You are amazing in so many different ways. You write so smoothly which makes reading so enjoyable. Your writing allows me to visualize melted butter spread across toasted bread without a crumb ruining the knife. That is how easy you make it to understand. Thank you, Dr. Lovell, you brightened my day with hope!

Hey Alex, this really hit home for me! I can totally relate to the quiet form of self-sabotage you described. It’s so easy to let those "what ifs" hold us back from chasing our dreams. I loved how you flipped the script and let the "but what if" grow louder and take charge. That moment of realizing that maybe our dreams aren’t as far-fetched as we think is something I’ve been wrestling with myself. Thanks for the reminder to dream big again and take action, even if it feels uncomfortable. Your words are like a wake-up call to stop playing small. Looking forward to putting that exercise into practice!
